Online Advanced Fetal monitoring

Has anyone ever heard of or taken an advanced fetal monitoring class online. I am a labor and delivery nurse that left the specialty for a little while and am looking to go back to labor and delivery and am looking for quick and easy way to renew my fetal monitoring.
TIA
Meghan

OR

I "THINK" they have a way you can do this. Ours where I work is done on computer; they bought the program and every 2 years, we must complete it to maintain competency and our jobs.

Good luck.

There used to be an online advanced class..but I don't think it is around any longer. There was one that I recommended but there were so many technical difficulties with the company that it just wasn't worth the trouble.

The poster above mentioned the GE Healthcare website. What a phenomenal educational experience this is. You get CE's for it, but it is more tutorial on fetal monitoring. There are incredible 3D animations...especially of cord cirulations during variables. You can do free trials online, but buying the modules is kind of hefty in price. I think these would be more suited to competency and orientation. Check them out just the same. It is indepth physiology education.

AWHONN has an online course the follows there principles and practice 2 day course. It will review physiology and terminology. They do recommend the 2 day course prior to taking this one though.

Hope this helps.
