Nursing School

Hello~
I am a high school junior and I have a couple of question regarding nursing school

1. What are the benefits of a ADN or BSN degree and which would you recommend?

2. Is it true that Hospitals will pay for your tutition if you will work for them for one year after college? If so how would I go about that?

3. What classes should I take in high school to prepare me for college?

4. Would you reccomend for me to begin basic college classes while in high school?

Thank you so much!

Well first of all congrats on wanting to become a nurse......I am a Diploma Nurse....my program was 3 years........If I were young like u I would do the BSN program that way u can do management if that is your choice.............if there are any Anatomy or Physiology classes offered by your High School I would recommend those......Hospitals will offer and incentive like paying for your college in return for working for them......but be aware........that means also that they can place u in a job or area u might not like....in other words I would be cautious in doing that....its like you are selling your soul to the hospital.......there was only one area for me that is why I didn't want the hospital paying for my tuition.......but my main advice for u is to go for your BSN..........while u are young......Hope this helped you.
