Question New L/D Nurse wanting quick guide

I graduate in May, and have secured a position in Labor and Delivery. I am wondering if there is a pocket guide, or a reference guide that any of you have found helpful. I know I will need something to jog my memory from time to time.
Thanks in Advance~!
Paula

I have a pocket book for L&D. I think it is called labor and delivery in my pocket. You can order it form amazon for about $15.

I have this too. Love it. It is a very quick and easy reference. It is pretty beat up and has no front cover now, but......

Think about putting a Pocket Dilation Guide in your pocket too. It's a great reference when learning cervical exams.

Re: New L/D Nurse wanting quick guide

I have tried three times to post this... let's see if it works...
I got this book for my L&D preceptorship & I like it:
Clinical Handbook for Maternal Newborn Nursing & Women's Health Care
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/013...lance&n=283155

I typed all the chapters & topics for you but it got lost in cyber space... ughh! No time to retype...

Can you give me more information on this guide - I cannot find it online. Maybe an author, or ISBN #. Thanks
