Need help with gyn ?

Im not an ob/gyn nurse, never specialized in it and never really liked it. But I should have paid more attention in class 10 years ago. I have a question. I have had periods every 2 weeks for the past 2-3 months. Lost 26 pounds (not trying) just not hungry. I have lupus so I figured it was the cause. But being Im worried. Two years ago I had to take methotrexate for my lupus for approx. 4 months to try and get it in remission. It didnt work. A potential problem with taking it is CA. My question is why would I be having them this close together? I also get cramps, and ciatica pain down my right leg with every period. IM ONLY 35!!!!
Any suggestions?

I dont have any real insight to share with you since I am a nursing student. But, I have had female problems that were kind of unusual also. Definitely go and visit your gynecologist. Losing large amounts of weight when you are not actively trying can sometimes be a red flag. Hopefully, the dr will be able to shed some light on this for you. Good luck and I will be praying for you.

I would call my GYN or primary doc on Monday.

I agree even with Lupus, abnormal bleeding, pain and sudden unexplained weight loss are warning signs. Could be just warning you that you need to have a hysterectomy but could be something else. Contact your Gyn as soon as possible. Also being 35 has nothing to do with it. We have had women as young as 19 have hysterectomies if the problem is bad enough. Better to err on the side of caution go to the doctor.
