I AM AN RN WHO IS INTERESTED IN GETTING NATIONALLY CERTIFIED IN OBSTETRICS BUT I AM NOT AWARE OF HOW TO GO ABOUT DOING IT. IF ANYBODY CAN INFORM ME OF WHAT TO DO IT WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. I AM THE MANAGER OF AN OBSTETRICAL UNIT, BOTH L/D AND MOTHER-BABY IN THE STATE OF GEORGIA. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME TO READ MY REQUEST.:-)
Certifications for OB are offered thru the National Certification Corp (NCC). Contact them at 312-951-0207 or www.nccnet.org. They have great educational offerings to aid in maintenance of the certification, also. Hope this helps...Good luck!!!
