Hey all, I attended a great inservice today on Care of Low Risk Labor patients and thought I would share something positive. We have a lot of high risk patients, so it was nice to attend a class for a change that focused on labor as a normal process and meeting the needs of our low risk patients. We reviewed our policies, discussed standards, talked about birth being a natural process and shared stories/experiences. It's nice to get together, share stories and experiences, support eachother and reaffirm that we work in an area where we get to share in an important and wonderful event in the lives of women and families.
