Longest you've had an AP pt on your unit?
|
|
Whats the longest time you've had an antepartum pt admitted on your unit?
we've had 7 weeks for pprom, 6 weeks for twin to twin transfusion, most recently. of course, i've only been there just less than a year, so i can't say for sure thats the LONGEST ever

I don't know for sure, but I remember one with hyperemesis that stayed about 6 weeks. I don't do PP or AP, so I'm not sure. Also, we ship anyone that has serious issues.

I remember a vasoprevia staying for 4 months I think. From the moment it was found until 37 weeks when she delivered via c-section. she had an INT at all times, and q 3 day blood draws for type and screen. She was a trooper, never once complaining. She left with a healthy baby.

We used to have (before I started working there) cerclages stay from 14wks til about 36 or longer. Just one doc who no longer does OB.
The longest one I remember was a lady c triplets in with PTL who kept them in til 35weeks, 15 of which were spent with us.

We've had PPROMs who ruptured at 20 weeks and delivered at 34.
