Re: Hi Everyone!

Yes PP is mother/baby. I guess I am confused. Is there a separate board for mother/baby nurses?

Re: Hi Everyone!

I guess I was tired last noc, thought I was in general nsg discussion , but am I realllllyy old now or is there a difference between postpartum and mother/baby nurse, Isn't it the same place/job with a new title like "Labor and Birth". Where I am I guess it's not politically correct to use Labor and"delivery" but now we must labor and birth, any other new fangled changes in semantics us old timers need to know????

Re: Hi Everyone!

Mother baby is where the baby's go to after birth and cared for, they are taken to their Mothers for feeding and bonding. PP is where the mother go to after delivery, she recuperates and goes to motherbaby (there are about two dozen healthy babies kept with their IDs) to pick her baby up and feed him. Visitors and other family members can peek through the windows of motherbaby and stare at the cute babies.
