in the section about syphilis there is a list of blood tests that include VDRL, RPR, FTA, ABS

I have checked these
my question is about ABS - is this a separate test? So far when I check, I find FTA-ABS so that the name of the test is fluorescent treponemal antibodies absorption test

is ABS a separate test? the list in the book has them all separated by commas

One test. You'll usually see a hyphen rather than a comma.
