Care Plan Help...

Hello.. I am in my 2nd semester and we are fixing to start our Maternity clinicals, and we were assigned several care plans... i found them all except for these three...

Acute Pain RT trauma to perineum during l/d, hemorrhoids, engorged breasts, and involution of uterus..

also...

Risk for Impaired Parenting RT: Inexperiance, feelings of incompetence, powerlessness, unwanted child, disappointment with child, or lack of role models..

and the last one...

Risk for Situation Low Self Esteem RT changes that persist after delivery

Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any sites that might help??

Thanks soo much..

Does your NIC and NOC texts have any information on this. Otherwise, I remember when I was in school, when I hit on some strange diagnosis, I just went and used my current text and wrote out goals, interventions from the text, drug books, and nursing care procedure book. Just combine the information. I know, easy for me to say.........I am not in school anymore. Going back, though.

The care planning books by Doenges are invaluable. I suggest you either borrow or buy one; the careplans only get more and more involved and long as you progress in school. I wish you luck, my friend!
