Can anyone give me a REAL description of what having urodynamics is like?

Well to be real frank, it can be a little gross. BUT if you have had a child, its nothing. Its not painful or anything, but you are reclined on this table with your legs hanging there, and they have pressure caths in you to tell if you have pressure, and at what stage you have pressure, while they infuse saline into your bladder. Plus you could pee all over the doctor. (which is why the doctor I work for wears scrubs on the day she does uro's). That being said, it gives the information needed to determine if you need surgery, and if so, its hard evidence so that your insurance will pay!
