I never used it for that but a quick Google search brings it up all over the place. Calendula cream was absolutely the best thing for my fat baby's infrequent diaper rashes (he's 11 now) and other minor skin breakouts. I love the stuff. As for nipples, I used lanolin exclusively, but I see this nipple cream on the internet that sounds downright delicious.

the reason that I ask, is that calendula cream is mentioned in the maternal-newborn textbook that I am reading right now, so I wondered how people find it.
I just had another thought: Some people are allergic to lanolin, so calendula sounds like a good alternative. See if this doesn't sound yummy to you. Makes me want to try it for lip balm:
