Question Admission to Nursing School...

Question~ How long did it take to get into the nursing program? How long after you applied did you start? (Not the pre-req.'s but the actual program itself.) I have read some posts talking about it took some people anywhere from semsters to a year!?!??

I was in a 4-year baccelaureate program, so I took pre-reqs for the first 2 years, applied for the actual nursing program in the Winter of my 2nd year, and started during my 3rd year. The program I got into was very competitive, so some people didn't get in until after their 3rd year. I am not sure if this answers your question?
