There are 5-6 of us on my unit and we all work full-time and school full-time. 2 of us graduated.
Oh esp. if you work night shift, a lot of times you have extra time to read and study. At least on my unit you do. not in winter and not always, but it works out okay.
i think i want to at least take my first year of nursing & grad school easy. on top of grad school & FT work i want to work on my spanish (used to be fluent when i was a kid but then i moved away from my spanish-speaking family so i sound like a 2yr old speaking it now!). Also, i have to work every other w/e & they're short-staffed so i'll prob get called in a lot. i'll prob do a heavier load after my 1st yr.
i have a Q, how do you handle daytime clinicals & working night shifts?
