Why is it that the distance programs are mostly ANP and rarely offer FNP? I am having to drive 90 miles each way to class twice a week, and rising gas prices are more of a problem than tuition! But I have never been able to find a distance FNP program and I know I won't get a job here if I can't see peds. I have searced allnursing schools dot com and frankly, it is a lousy resource IMO. If you know of any good distance learning FNP programs, will you list them? Thanks.
State of Tennessee has one. I'm currently enrolled (very pleased) but have decided to transfer to a local university program for connections and ease in finding clinicals.
