The wait is on......

Well it is officially over!! I took my boards today. I left with my brain feeling so fried. Some questions were totally easy....others were so off that I didnt think any answer was right. Oh well now the wait is on....here is to speedy reporting from the ANCC (haha) Oh yes....now I know I will never forget how to tell the difference between transudate and exudate in pleural fluid!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend

Pleural fluid... wow. What a blanking stupid question. I see a lot of that in outpatient primary care practice. Typical nursing BS.

I took the AANP test which also was tough, but it gave me the results as soon as I clicked end when I finished it. Scared the bejesus out of me as I wasn't expecting that and felt like I failed it anyway. But, all is well now, and thank God all that's over.

Glad to know that I am not the only one waiting on the ANCC. I sent my COMPLETE application over a month ago and just received a letter that they have received my application, not that I am eligible to take the exam!! How long does this take???? Oh well!! Good luck, I am sure you did well.

I feel for you!! It took right at a month for me as well. I think after I received my letter saying they received my application it took another week to week and a half for me to receive an authorization to test. I will let you know how long it takes to get my results

Thanks,
I have heard that some people heard within 5 business days since it is the testing company that sends your results or something like that. But it will be great to know how long it takes you to find out.

Re: The wait is on......

Hey, how did you guys study for your NP boards? Is it all multiple choice? How many questions? Did you prepare for it as much as you did for NCLEX? Thanks!
