So excited! New NP position at our hospital!

During one of my online searches I came across a job opening for NPs to work with the Hospitalist group within my current facility. This was the first job I wanted when starting the FNP program except the job didn't exist in my area.

Right now they're hiring for night shift with one being 3p-1a which I could totally handle. According to the docs, they'll eventually expand that role to include them in taking on patients and rounding.

Amazing how these possibilities open up once graduation starts to creep up on you.

I'll just have to decide between my love for Neurosurgery and Hospitalist. Naturally, pay will be a big determinant. Heh.

That is so great! I know just how you feel: I totally love the whole idea of Hospitalists.
