My goal is to be either a PA-C OR ARNP, can the ARNP work in cardiology or neurosurgery, or is it limited to a PA-C, have a great friend thats a PA-C like the way she works as a PA-C, on the other hand there is a ARNP there as well she has no people skills, took my daughter in to see the np about a stomcah ache she said it was in her head in other words she was saying she had no pain. dont get me wrong i'm not trying to bash anyone here just wanting some opions

I am sorry you had to experience the ineffectiveness of this individual. But, please do not base your decision to become NP on this "NP". There are bad HCP in all fields, physician, NP, PA. You just happened to get the bad one.

Yes, NP do work in all aspects of medicine.
