I am trying to figure out what a salary range should be for a NP working in the ER?

Here is the basic job description and please tell me your opinions...

• Critical Access hospital in small town
• Emergency Room position
• Work schedule is 3- 24 hour shifts per 2 weeks that rotate and do include weekends. Rotation is 1 in 4.
• No call
• No physicians on on site. This is an entirely NP staffed ER department so NP's get to make all the decisions.
• There is an average of 10 cases a day.

What should the salary range for this position be??? Please let me know..

Much depends on the area of the country. CAC hospitals as you know have to provide ER care. So...if it is an undesirable place to live, you might be able to ask for more $$$.
