Hi, I was wondering if anyone has attended Northeastern's Direct Entry program or plans to attend this fall. I was accepted into their program and I'm 90% positive that I want to go, but I was wondering if anyone could offer me some feedback about Northeastern's program. There seems to be a lot of interest in MGHs and BCs Direct Entry programs in Boston, but I haven't heard as much about Northeastern's. So any info would be great.

Their program is fairly new. Make sure you do your homework. Their NCLEX pass rate is pretty low, especially compared to some of the other programs around Boston (BC, MGH, Simmons, Columbia, NYU, Rochester, Yale, Penn, etC). I know a few people who began there only to transfer to another program after a few months or a year.

Just to make sure people aren't misinformed, last year's Direct Entry Nursing students at Northeastern had a 100% pass rate on the NCLEX exam. That score of 85% was representative of all the students in different nursing programs at Northeastern University.
