Question On line Program Validity

I have a question regarding online programs for nurse midwifery. I am considering either an online FNP program through TN Board of Regents or Nurse Midwifery via University of Cincinnati on line. Does anyone know how either of these programs compares with campus based programs? Will job offers be considered equivalently with other campus based programs? I have not heard anything about U of C. Does anyone know how it ranks? I am one confused chick!

Re: On line Program Validity

I was in clinicals in Nashville, TN, with a woman who was doing an online FNP, and her main problem was in finding sites for clinicals. Nashville may not have been the best example, because there are several NP programs, at least one PA program, and at least two medical schools, all with students competing for sites. She was, however, finding that people she approached were also somewhat reluctant to have her there without a "real" school backing her up, even though she was an RN with 20+ years oncology and cardiovascular nursing experience.

Just what I've seen, and it was only one person.
