I am starting the FNP program this summer. Do you think it would be beneficial to take chemistry before hand? I have never taken chemistry--not in high school or college. I would like to take a chemistry course. Would you recommend a general intro to chemistry or organic or what?

Re: Chemistry

Chemistry? For a FNP program? I wouldn't even bother unless it's a requirement for entrance. Chemistry isn't even remotely applied once you're in the program. Well, unless it's for personal enrichment... I actually enjoyed Chemistry! Wish we could use it more often just to keep the skills up.

Given the chance, I would have retaken undergrad Stats as a refresher... yikes. It was intense the second time around!

Re: Chemistry

I did just take undergrad stats...I did not want my first experience with stats to be at the grad level
