Any Feedback Appreciated-Palliative Care NP

Hi all!

I am interested in switching my current specialty from the Psych NP track to the ANP/Palliative Care track. I do love both areas and am torn between the two.

People have suggested that I continue with the Psych track and take 'electives' in palliative care..

Does anyone have any experience in Palliative Care as an NP? I haven't seen many postings about that yet..

Thanks in advance..

Re: Any Feedback Appreciated-Palliative Care NP

I almost took a palliative care NP position late last year. It was in conjunction with a hospitalist and I would be doing rounding on the chronic patients and coming up with care/orders, etc., for this population.
