Question? - Acute Care PNP recommendations

Hello...

Does anyone have recommendations for a acute care PNP program that is a bit lighter on the theory and more on clinical education?

Hi,

I'm not a PNP-AC, not even a nurse yet, but I'm looking into this early. All programs(there are 14 in all I think) seem to have some level of research/theory to them, however, I have been most impressed by not exactly in this order are:

1. Univ. of Texas at Arlington
2. University of Maryland at Baltimore
3. Emory University

These schools seem to limit their reseach/theray classes to the first quarter/semester. And it looks like Emory offers a health policy and finance class in their curriculum. I hope this helps.
