UCSF and Lucile Packard

Hi all!

I will be moving to Cali, specifically the Bay Area, this summer and I'm starting to look at the NICUs in the area. Does anyone know the names of the managers or what the units are like at UCSF and Lucile Packard?

I would greatly appreciate any info, please feel free to PM me.

Thank you!!

Re: UCSF and Lucile Packard

Hi! I recently left Packard NICU (I would love to go back but my current job is better for raising my kids by myself PM me for manager's info.

Oh, the NICU is semi strictly level 3 with 2 ECMO beds. All grower/feeders go to the intermediate nursery. There's a special care nursery for bili babies and r/o sepsis.

Great learning environment. Can get a little crazy but what unit can't.
