Has anyone else noticed that babies of mothers given Stadol close to delivery (less than 2 hrs. before) tend to be irritable and scream a lot, then often go on to have dusky spells / apnea in transition?

We see this trend at our hospital. (Lots of drop-ins who don't get epidurals so are given Stadol)

I find this so frustrating because these babies usually look great in the delivery room - often having a second APGAR of 10, but go on to have apnea later, after the time to give Narcan has passed.
