Hi Baby_rn,
Well, I can't tell you too much, as I am a new grad and only really saw one NICU during my rotations. The Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York-Presbyterian (W. 165th and Broadway) has a brand new facility and a BEAUTIFUL NICU. I was only really up there one day, so I can't really speak to things like staff dynamics, all I can say is that their NICU is really nice.
A friend of mine did her preceptorship at New York Weill Cornell Children's Hospital (at E. 68th and York, also a part of the New York-Presbyterian Hospital system) and she said that it was a really great experience for her and that they also have top notch facilities.
That's all I know, maybe you should try posting in the New York nurses thread?
