Hi,
I'm just exploring the field (I'm a first year BSN student) but my brother had to stay in the NICU for the first 2 months of his life and since then we frequent Children's Hospital LA often. I have my eye set on being a NNP or PNP someday.What is a work like? Is the work week the same as a staff RN with 3 shifts or is it different?

I think there is a nurse practitioner forum in Allnurses, you might get more responses there.

We have NNPs, I am not sure of their shift, I know they take turns being on call through the week and they spend the night on these nights.
