I applied for a position in the NICU on Monday and will hear next week. I want this so badly, I am currently working on a telemetry floor in another hospital. This hospital is half the commute and has a fantastic NICU unit. 54 bed Level III, (I think it is a IIIb but not positive) I know the manager liked me and the interview went really well but there are a lot of applicants so I am hoping and praying. Just wanted to get some good vibes going my way and say hello to all on the forum. I have been reading the posts for a while now and finally joined

Good Luck!! Former tele nurse here, never looked back. I actually have bad dreams sometimes that I had to go back to tele. Bad not because I disliked tele, but bad because I so love NICU.
