Education - Lab values

I am an LPN in an RN nursing program and am doing a 144 hour preceptorship on a NICU unit. All the lab values that I learned for adults don't necessarily apply here. Where can I go to get a new set of lab value ranges for neo-nates and peds patients?

Re: Lab values

Ahh lab values. I hear you, I was in the same boat when I did my time in NICU for nursing school. When you hear ABGs rattled off, and think "oh no!" but they aren't as bad as you would think, as you have the adult labs in you memory.

Check out this site, it's the first one that came up on my goggle search: http://www.rch.org.au/nets/handbook/...cfm?doc_id=460.

I hope you enjoy your preceptorship, and good luck with NS!
