To your best ability, can you recall any of your interview questions when you were hired into NICU? Can you remember any case scenarios given pertaining to a neonate (if this was part of your interview process)? Anything you can say about what to expect would be greatly appreciated!!

As a graduating nurse, I didn't get any (medical) questions or case scenarios pertaining to neonates -- because nursing school didn't cover most of what we have to learn to work in the NICU...

Got questions like: why the NICU? what do you think you can contribute? how do you handle stress? strengths/weaknesses (standard stuff)...

they ask me 3 questions:
1\if you have preterm baby has wt 900gm, on ventiliatior how you will take the wt? can you take the wt alone or not?
2\ if your baby started to have seizure what you will do as NICU nurse?
3\mentione 3 cases should not be resuscitions or even if will resus they will die?........
