Having a Great Experience

I just wanted to say that I am having a great experience in a NICU that I just started in this week. I worked in a PICU for 2 years and wasn't learning or liking it at all. I work night shift and all the nurses were really nice, helpful, and laid back. Unlike the environment I came from, they were like one big family. I really enjoyed my first night and actually look foward to being there a while. It is a large unit but it didn't feel like it all. I have never experienced an environment like it before! Reading some of the threads made me wish I could get to a unit that some of you worked in, but I think I have finally found my home. It especially dispelled a lot of misconceptions I started to have about nurses, their genuiness, and a county hospital. I feel a ray of hope in my clinical practice. I believe that God likes us to share positive news, so I posted this so I can say thanks for the many positive posts there are and to bring hope to someone who started to doubt like I did. Thanks and please keep me in your prayers, as I will all of you.
