Hi all,
I'm in the NICU (5 1/2 years)...
I have taken care of a ...
Heaven Lee, Princess, Miracle Star,
Brinaje (pronounced Brin-asia) - I pronounced this name wrong to the mom, she did a head bob, put her hands on her hips and said it her way. I said, "well, if you had named her something normal, it would be a lot easier to say!" I then explained that all of her baby's life, people will mispronounce her name. Funny, we never got along after that.

Lexus & Sierra, their older sibling was Mercedes.
Semaude, Samaria, Unique
Before me, the nurses reported having twins named Lemonjello and Orangejello (pronounced Lemahn-jelo and Orahn-jelo) I can't vouch for these guys since they were before me.
In the delivery room, we had to talk a mom out of Placenta
One kid who had 24 of 26 letters from the alphabet in the name.
Many kids who's names are so hard to pronounce with all the apostrophes, dashes, Q's, Z's, Y's, J's, and so forth.
We have had several Nevaeh's (it's a pretty popular name these days), and Destiny's.
My wife is a school teacher and reports equally diverse names in the classroom.

Names! Gotta love the weird ones...
I remember after the Matrix came out, we also had a boy named "Neo"... really messed up our ID lables that had "Neo" on all the patient lables for the Neonatal kids---I think I had to have talks with every other department in the hospital at one point or another explaining," No, his NAME is "Neo", and he's ALSO a Neonatal patient." Oh brother! And... at the same time a girl named Trinity, who's parents were Jewish. Huh?
Also, at my current hospital, we had twin boys named Nyquil, and Neosynephrine. Alrighty then....

These parents arces need to be kicked!!!! I hope when they are old enough, the kids will change their names!!! HOW STUPID!!!!!! I also had a woman name her son "Nosmo". She saw a sign on two doors of a restricted area: Nosmo on one door, King on the other. "King" was her last name!!!!
I'm not kidding about that either!!!
