Re: Funny Names

I once talked a mom out of naming her son Jadys... but only because she already had a Jadyn. I think she ended up going with Jarius, or something similar.

Re: Funny Names

Newest entries in the last few weeks;

Catori; Just doesn't sound like a name; like a european furniture line or something.

Jailya; It does kind of sound pretty the way the mom says it; but on paper I keep hearing the phrase "I'm gonna Jail-Ya".

Xavier Raymond: Yeah....they call him X-Ray. He should be 6 or 7 now. Poor kid.

We've recently had an "Anonymous,"(no word of a lie) a "No'Staljah" and a "Texiania."

Re: Funny Names

I overheard a great debate between MOB and GMOB the other day about whether a hyphen or an apostrophe was the better choice between two syllables of a name.

That is awesome. My feeling is that if it needs a hyphen or an apostrophe, and you're not sure where it belongs or which one to use, it probably isn't a real name.
