earthquake preparedness

Hello! Our NICU is in the process of making the unit earthquake prepared. We are researching everything from the kind of containers to keep our supplies in to where to store these supplies on the unit. We are trying to make it a unit specific policy to address all the issues we will encounter with our small and fragile babies including how to evacuate them off the unit if necessary. I would like to know if any of the NICU's out there have policies or do you have just a hospital wide policy? I would appreciate any and all help you can give me. Our hope is to make a new policy and procedure that addresses our unit and then to have a mock up so, staff will be prepared when a major earthquake happens. Thank you!
