But the truth is, I don't even know what my school wants,or really even anyone who has been there' and thats probably whats making it the hardest is not knowing !!! Trust me, I know EXACTLY what you're talking about.
I just try to break the time up to make it go faster...for example: With orientation being a little over two wks away on the 21st, I might tell myself something like "After this weekend, I'm going to spend a week in miami, next week we are having company and by the time they leave, orientation will be the next day".
Pretty pathetic I know but it actually helps with the anxiety. I think that once I go to orientation, meet the teachers and find out what the school is about, that will help me a great deal. Right now it's fear of the unknown that is positively driving me insane!! Hang in there though because I'm pretty sure that once school starts we'll all be on here wishing it will end!
Good Luck

Time is ticking. I start on Sept. 2nd and starting to get nervous. I've wanted this for so long and its finally about to be here. I just want to say lets enjoy our free time now because for the next 12, 15, 18 or 21 months we are going to be on the grind.
Hang in there and just keep your eye on the prize.
WE ARE ON OUR WAY TO BECOMING NURSES!
