Ohio Nurses Speak Out About CNA's Anti-Union Effort

We worked hard for this. This was not something out of the blue. We asked for this vote."
Sally Baker, RN, Springfield Regional Medical Center

Watch this video of Sally and other caregivers at Catholic Health Partners in Ohio who describe the exhilaration they felt when, after three long years, they finally got the chance for a free and fair union election at their hospitals. Their feelings turned to shock and dismay when dozens of California Nurses Association organizers flew to Ohio, urging them to vote "no" for a stronger voice through SEIU.

I don’t understand why they felt that they needed to come in to bust up our union. What good did it do? It hurt a lot of people."
Brennetta Luther, Unit Secretary, Mercy Western Hills Hospital, Cincinnati

Hear from the workers who were affected by CNA's anti-union tactics. Go to www.ShameOnCNA.com to learn more.
