Hi everyone!

I'm currently in a monitoring program in NJ (where I practice). I have a license in CA which wasn't affected when I surrendered my license.**

**I had a lawyer and she was aware that I also have a current license in CA and she didn't say anything if that license would be affected. I know that it is in good standing because I checked.

My concern is, assuming I get cleared with everything here in NJ, if I move to CA, do you think I will get nailed for my history even though my NJ license is cleared?

Well, the way the CA Diversion program works, if it's completed successfully there is absolutely no record of it, so no future checks on the license would reveal anything. If there would be no record of the program in NJ, then nothing would show up.

I'm in NJ's monitoring program right now, so even though I complete it there should always be a record--at least saying that I complied and successfully completed my (monitoring) program.

I'm just worried that CBRN might say that I should've been doing there (CA) program while doing NJ's. Like I said, my lawyer knew that I have a license in CA but she didn't say anything or wasn't concern that my CA license will be affected when I surrender my (NJ) license.

I know people that were required to comply to 2 states policies even the nurse is only practicing in one state but since he or she has another active license in another state, that state insist for the nurse to do the same thing for them. Which is totally insane.

I know that I'm making a negative prediction but I just don't want to move to CA and have me repeat 5 years of monitoring, or yet be denied to practice.
