Re: another day with a hangover

An alternative to AA is Women For Sobriety (WFS). Do a search --they have a website. Their program is more positive and empowering than AA. Good luck.

Re: another day with a hangover

Nurseby07 have you considered relocating and getting a fresh start. It seems to me that your mom would be more supportive of you and not entertain his family. I can understand your frustrations. Don't allow them to ease HIM back into your life. Sometimes you have to "get away from your own kinsmen and countrymen" ( KJV Holy Bible). I hope you are OK. You may have made a mistake by having an affair but even so you did NOT deserve the attack that he did. He belongs in prison and it is NOT your fault. He sounded like a time bomb waiting to happen. Good Luck in the future. You have overcome so much..........don't lose it to drugs and alcohol.
