Re: What kind of Backpack?

I bought a Jansport Driver8 from ebags as well. I don't start until next week so I can't say how it is. Even if I just bring one or two main texts (for reading between classes or study sessions after), it is well worth it to me to have the rolling pack. I have a loooong walk from the parking lot to class as well. And I purchased Jansport for the lifetime warranty. I figure my kids can use it in middle/high school after I'm done with it.

The Jansport Drive 8 sounds really neat!

I used a Spalding and got it at Sears (1/2 price after school started in the Fall). It has a flat bottom and lots of room and compartments. Wheels and a handle.

I fully recommend the wheels, you'll need your back in the future.

Re: What kind of Backpack?

I got a rolling backpack 3 yrs ago from ebags.com it still looks and rolls like new its gone thru MA school and all nursing pre reqs and my first semester of school has plenty of room for all the huge book supplies and even my lap top it was a little pricey at 80 dollars but i drag it up stairs and bounce it down and it takes some serious abuse it was well worth my investment
