Nurse gear in stores?

I am coming to New York in a couple of weeks, and I was wondering if there is a store in NY that sells nurse gear (scrubs, shoes, stethoscopes etc). I would like to order online, but they dont ship it to holland

Can anyone tell me where to go in NY for cool shops for nurses...

B&R Uniforms on 23rd St between 2nd & 3rd Ave is where I got my first sets of scrubs, when I didn't have time for the internet to deliver. They also have tools, accessories, etc.

Thank you Lizzy! I'll check out the website!

Makes me wonder, what do you wear at work? Can you really work in a printed scrub (http://www.soscrubby.com/ProductImag...intgroup-L.jpg)? In the Netherlands we only wear white... so hard to imagine that you really work in these scrubs... Beacause that would be so great, wearing blue pants and a printed top.

Sorry I am just wondering...

Re: Nurse gear in stores?

We can wear printed or solid scrubs. I like to wear a little of both. It depends on my day and how I am feeling. If I know that I will be working with kids that day, I try to wear something fun. I don't know if I would enjoy wearing white all of the time.

Re: Nurse gear in stores?

haha thats nice

I sure dont like it to wear white all the time, so you can imagine that when I'm coming to the USA in a couple of years(?) the first thing I am going to do is buy a printed / coloured scrub!

They moves to 2nd St between 26 & 27. The owner worked in holland for a couple of years, so plenty things to talk about. I walked out the store with two pair of scrubs (printed & solid), a stetho, an RN pin, a penholder and a couple of gifts (pen/penlight).

thanks for the tip!
