Aprons...BAHHH!!!

No one, male or female, should be forced to wear an apron or fanny packet.
Totally agree. My boss just ordered these little black aprons for us to wear. So now we're all wearing gray or red polo shirts with khaki pants, and the apron. We all look like country cafe waitresses. "What'll it be, hun?"

I read in another post that someone wears a tool belt to work - that shouldn't be emasculating!

Hmmm...I fishing vest...yikers...would I have to wear the hat too?...he he...

Was talking to some of the other nurses last night who also feel they have to do something because lovely management decided to take out our chart boxes outside the pt rooms...where we had lock boxes for meds and bins for flushes and alcohol etc...so now we have to go all the way to the med room for supplies. Anyway they are talking about ordering some of those small side pack things that sit flush to your body so don't look like "fanny pack"...but I don't know still considering my options.

Thanks for all the replys keep the ideas a flowing...

I think butt cracks would be a hazard in a hospital.
