Re: Skechers or New Balance

I'm with Meghan. I prefer an Easy Spirit running shoe. They're very light weight, supportive, and flexible.

Re: Skechers or New Balance

I absolutely love New Balance sneakers!! But when I went to buy them I told the saleman what I needed them for, which I think helped. He recommended a certain pair of cardio shoes made for walking, not running, and they're wonderful. I've worn the running ones a few times but my feet did bother a few hours into the shift, never had that problem with the walking shoes. And I personally dislike Danskos (they haven't been mentioned yet). I say, stick with the New Balance or some type of good walking shoe.

Re: Skechers or New Balance

I had a pair of New Balance 608s that I wore until they literally fell apart (2.5 years). Loved them. After that, I bought some Nike Shox (mostly cause I couldn't find my beloved NB's) and they are AWESOME!

Re: Skechers or New Balance

I recently developed PF and spurs, and after seeing a podiatrist, getting the shots and obtaining orthotics, I purchased New Balance and right now, I am IN LOVE with them (as well as my podiatrist-just kidding-). I feel like I am bouncing on air, and they have solved my foot problems for the most part. I am interested in looking at others, though.

I currently have a pair of Shox but have had great success with NB in the past as well. Can't offer an opinion on Skechers.
