I also have plantar fasciitis.

I have good luck with Crocs Rx - they can only be ordered online. They are deep enough for an orthotic. (They come in white, too).

I agree. I have noticed that I experience significantly less soreness and foot pain since I've lost some weight.

I had success with going to a podiatrist & getting orthotics fitted, and then wearing them in good quality joggers (Kumfs-made in NZ with lots of room for orthotics and/or wide feet).

He did say that it would take a couple of months to feel the benefit, and he was right there. Now I rarely have heel pain, except the day I forgot the orthotics, but then 8 hours on a concrete floor will do that to you.

If I lost some weight they'd be even better!

Danskos. They come in white, and I can be on my feet for 12 hours with no pain (I have plantar fasciitis, too.) They last for years. http://www.dansko.com/flash.aspx#det...apled%20Clog,2

Born clogs are also great (maybe even better), but I don't know if you can get them in white.

I have tried Dansko's several times, but I constantly roll my ankles in them - to the point that it causes severe ankle pain and I've almost fallen. I see other nurses doing this, too. I really wish they would work for me.

Are you wearing the ones with backs on them, or the clogs? The clogs are cuter, but I am only allowed to wear the ones with backs on them.
