New clogs just arrived

OK...after witnessing a few Croc Crashes I decided to try a pair of Dickies -- Model "Allie"

They are very light and made of thin material. I first glance I thought...Wow these things are pretty cheap...not much too them.

I tried them on, walked around and to my surprise they seem to be pretty comfortable. I was able to run up and down stairs without injuring myself. Good support and the insert is removable which makes for easy cleaning of the clog.

Originally $30 - I got them on sale for 10 bucks...so I bought two pair. Of course I would have loved a pair of Danskos but student budget only permits for one major purchase per semester...and Romin Noodles take priority over footwear!

Anyone out there own a pair? Thoughts?

If you really want Dansko's, go to a local store and try on pairs until you find your size. Then go on ebay and search Dansko and buy them there.

I've gotten a few pairs of brand new Dankso's for 1/2 price.

I live in Northern VA and we have a "Walking Store" in the mall. If we tell the clerk we are nurses they give us a HUGE discount on the dansko's. Also when grad time comes around...tell everyone you want gift cards to get some "real" shoes (nothing negative intended to non dansko shoes or wearers)...Also shop around. Nordstrom here sometimes has 50% off sales on dansko's.

Careful buying Danskos off the internet. Since they're handmade two pairs in the same size might not fit the same. I have 2 pairs of size 39s and one is unwearably small.
