Are Crocs good for Nursing

Some people say that these disrupt Nurse equipment but I've worn them at work and nothing has happened.

Has anyone else had any experiences with them because I don't want to ruin anything at work and I'm worried.

I've never known for Crocs to disrupt medical equipment.

In addition, they're rather inexpensive and so very comfortable.

Have mine on right this minute! Never heard of any accidents at work... but can get a little messy if dealing with bodily fluids and the crocs with air vents. I like the ones that are completely closed in the front.

Re: Are Crocs good for Nursing

During a hospital orientation, I was told an accidental needle stick occurred when a nurse dropped a syringe and the needle went through the air vent at top of her crocks. At that facility, they're discouraged, but not forbidden. Most of my co-workers wear then at the nursing home where I work.

I got rid of my crocs because I sometimes caught the toe and tripped - and I've seen other people do it with crocs, too.

Yes, I also get the dreaded "Croc Stop"!!

I also find that they make my feet mighty sweaty, because I won't wear the ones with the vent holes....

Otherwise they're comfy and cheap!

(I rotate crocs, danskos, and sneakers)

I hate when that happens!

Strollin' along, feeling all confident that I have this walking thing down after 54 years, then WHAM! Croc stop!
