YES!

I have a black pair with no holes that I wear with regular clothes. I have to say, my feet are kind of stinky and my socks are a little damp when I take them off later in the day. My work Crocs have the side vents but no holes on top, and they do keep my feet much drier ad odor-free. Think of how long nursing shifts are - can you imagine what shoes smell like after being on your feet for over 12 hours at a time?

I got the $3.99 clearance version at Family Dollar. Commuter, I think we're on to something.-- The cheaper versions are just as goood. Now, if I could only find more.....

Re: Crocs!

I have found that some cheaper versions aren't always as good. Some of the cheaper ones were harder, thinner.

Re: Crocs!

I LOVE mine. I have over 16 pair. I esp. loved the flip flop ones this summer. I got three different colors to wear. Have you seen the Islander ones in person? I got those in brown. They're comfortable but without socks the leather is a little rough on the heels. I got my husband hooked on them too. He thought they were so ugly when he saw them on my feet for the first time. Now it's all he wears, except for work and that's only because it's a hazard since they're plastic or rubber or whatever. I don't care if they are ugly I wear them all the time, except to church. LOL I hope they keep making them although I do believe they will last forever.

Oh and I read one post about someone washing theirs and they shrunk, I wash mine all the time and they do fine although I wash in cold water. The athens (flip flops) are great to wear when you go for pedicures but they get all slick from the lotion.

I love the Mary Jane's, got those in brown too.

Sandy

I have Plantar Faciitis-I had Berkies which were so much better than my tennis shoes but man, my heels would hurt so bad, seriously, a 10/10 on that pain scale! Nothing seemed to help. I did the stretching, the ice, everything. Finally, I was just fed up with it. I even put padding in the heels. Didn't help. On a whim, I bought the crocs. I got the kind that don't have holes in them. Immediately my heels quit hurting. Now, my knees seemed to hurt more though-over a week or so, the knees quit hurting and NOW I feel wonderful. No more heel pain! I don't wake up in the am hobbling around like I am 90-I am so dumbfounded as to how they work and why they are so much better than the birkies. I feel bad though, My mom bought the birkies for me and I have no reason to wear them again.
I am 28 with some injuries and issues that add to my over all discomfort. I had bilat knee hyperextension when I was a Highschool cheerleader which is now arthritis. I have had a fusion of my lumbar spine too.
Simply amazed. BUT< I got a size too small so I can't use the darn STRAP!!!!!

careful, i have PF and I wore crocs all the time. At first they feel great but after you wear them for a few months they break down and thats how I got a heel spur. They dont have any support in the arch. I cant wear them at all anymore, my feet hurt so bad if i do. Now, the croc sandals are another story, they are the only thing i can wear these days.

I read somewhere on here where the knock-offs are not made of the same material and may harbor germs and bacteria, while the real Crocs won't...especially after they are cleaned.

Exactly! I had/have the same problem. Started out thinking they were the miracle shoe. Now I have to alternate my crocs with merrills (every other day or so) otherwise the crocs will cause my PF to flare up.

Like many here, when I get tired I am prone to stumbling in the crocs too. I suspect I stumble in all shoes when tired, but because the crocs STICK on a stumble, the stumble is worse.
