IMVHO that is how you know they fit! Never understood the fitted look in scrubs, especially the ones that tuck their tops into the pants.

Also, try Barco. I can't get my thigh into their xl, and I ain't THAT big.

I didn't mean I would look frumpy because they weren't form fitting (I personally hate snug clothing). Maybe I chose the wrong word..

I meant that I'd look like a little girl wearing her Mom's clothes, you know that look..hanging off, disheveled and frumpy looking

No matter now about schools uniform, I graduated June 6th!

And I did end up finding scrubs that fit nicely, not hanging off me but not fitting like a second skin. They fit just perfect!

Got them at Work 'n Gear, its their brand.."RX Gear" is what I think they are called. I stocked up on all colors..love them.

I never did get around to thanking you all for your suggestions..so a belated thank you to all that responded.

PS I think that the additional 10 pounds I put on during school helped me to find a scrub set that fit better since I put all the weight in my belly, butt and legs (I was grateful, I try to gain weight but I never gain an ounce, I go to school and the last month of school I packed on 7-10 pounds! Hubby loves it, not as "boney" as I was LOL)

this post is a little late, but im basically the same size as you. im 4'11 (4'11 1/2 on a good day) and 95 lbs. i have such trouble finding scrubs that look nice on me that i dont swim in and that fit length. Most of the pants i still have to hem. I just use the hemming tape that you iron on. Its really quick and fool-proof. heres what i love:

Greys Anatomy Line (size XS)

Life Uniform Tops, the V-Neck with the empire waist wrap, this makes it more fitting and they seem to be cut shorter length, so they dont go down to your knees

(i roll the waist 3 times, and i dont worry about hemming the bottoms, i just roll them up 3 times. they pants are a little big, but it gives me a little more moving room. i just match it up with one of my bigger scrub tops and im set to go)

hope this helps out some, i know its not easy being so small! let me know if you have any other good brands. I also know the dickies hip flip is nice

I tried the Grey's Anotomy brand, and they were much too big. The XS was more like a medium in some of the other brands. I like the feel of the material, but they just looked terrible! I agree Barco tends to run small and they even have a 'juniors' line, which is what I often buy for tops. Peaches tops tend to run small as well. The boot cut bottoms look nice on on shorter women, they make the legs look longer. I almost always have to take in the sides, and hem my pants. Really easy to do, just a few straight stiches with a sewing machine. I forget sometimes how little I am, until I am trying to buy clothes!

I am constantly searching for great looking scrubs! I absolutely detest sloppy scrubs! It sounds like you would really like Koi scrubs. They are tailored and run on the smaller side.
