IMVHO that is how you know they fit! Never understood the fitted look in scrubs, especially the ones that tuck their tops into the pants.

Also, try Barco. I can't get my thigh into their xl, and I ain't THAT big.

Seriously, they're a junior cut.

Re: Short and thin..WHERE can I get scrubs that FIT?!!

I didn't mean I would look frumpy because they weren't form fitting (I personally hate snug clothing). Maybe I chose the wrong word..

I meant that I'd look like a little girl wearing her Mom's clothes, you know that look..hanging off, disheveled and frumpy looking

No matter now about schools uniform, I graduated June 6th!

And I did end up finding scrubs that fit nicely, not hanging off me but not fitting like a second skin. They fit just perfect!

Got them at Work 'n Gear, its their brand.."RX Gear" is what I think they are called. I stocked up on all colors..love them.

I never did get around to thanking you all for your suggestions..so a belated thank you to all that responded.

PS I think that the additional 10 pounds I put on during school helped me to find a scrub set that fit better since I put all the weight in my belly, butt and legs (I was grateful, I try to gain weight but I never gain an ounce, I go to school and the last month of school I packed on 7-10 pounds! Hubby loves it, not as "boney" as I was LOL)

Re: Short and thin..WHERE can I get scrubs that FIT?!!

this post is a little late, but im basically the same size as you. im 4'11 (4'11 1/2 on a good day) and 95 lbs. i have such trouble finding scrubs that look nice on me that i dont swim in and that fit length. Most of the pants i still have to hem. I just use the hemming tape that you iron on. Its really quick and fool-proof. heres what i love:

Greys Anatomy Line (size XS)
http://www.scrubsandbeyond.com/produ...-scrub-tops.do
http://www.scrubsandbeyond.com/produ...scrub-pants.do

Life Uniform Tops, the V-Neck with the empire waist wrap, this makes it more fitting and they seem to be cut shorter length, so they dont go down to your knees
http://lifeuniform.com/go.asp?prog=l...prc=&embflag=N

Fresh Scrubs Line
http://lifeuniform.com/go.asp?prog=l...prc=&embflag=N
http://lifeuniform.com/go.asp?prog=l...prc=&embflag=N

And for my days i need to be comfortable/have PMS, am sick...etc..
http://www.scrubsandbeyond.com/produ...scrub-pants.do
(i roll the waist 3 times, and i dont worry about hemming the bottoms, i just roll them up 3 times. they pants are a little big, but it gives me a little more moving room. i just match it up with one of my bigger scrub tops and im set to go)

hope this helps out some, i know its not easy being so small! let me know if you have any other good brands. I also know the dickies hip flip is nice

Seriously Dickies are made for skinny people. Even short ones.

Re: Short and thin..WHERE can I get scrubs that FIT?!!

I tried the Grey's Anotomy brand, and they were much too big. The XS was more like a medium in some of the other brands. I like the feel of the material, but they just looked terrible! I agree Barco tends to run small and they even have a 'juniors' line, which is what I often buy for tops. Peaches tops tend to run small as well. The boot cut bottoms look nice on on shorter women, they make the legs look longer. I almost always have to take in the sides, and hem my pants. Really easy to do, just a few straight stiches with a sewing machine. I forget sometimes how little I am, until I am trying to buy clothes!

Hi!

I am constantly searching for great looking scrubs! I absolutely detest sloppy scrubs! It sounds like you would really like Koi scrubs. They are tailored and run on the smaller side.

Good luck!
