Smile Landau scrubs

My hospital just switched to a color coded system. They require all personal to wear Landau scrubs, CNA's must wear wine. I loved this idea until I tried on a few of these styles. My relatively small frame is just swimming in these styles, even in size XS! I don't need to show off my figure at work, but I feel like I just can't work comfortably is something that seems like it was made for a linebacker! Could someone with experience wearing Landau scrubs help me select a style that is a a bit more form-fitting? I need a style that is available in wine.

Re: Landau scrubs

I wish I could be of more assistance, but I only wear the Landau warm-up nurses jackets. By the way, Landau does make high-quality stuff that tends to be durable and relatively long-lasting.

The embroidered tunic should do.

They are requiring a particular brand?

I certainly hope they are paying for them.

Re: Landau scrubs

This reminds me of the time that my facility got bought out by a big company. One of the changes they said was going to come about was color coded scrub tops to be provided by the employer. The employees got to pick out the colors. They never came through on that promise, instead bringing about their ever popular down sizing of the employee pool.

I bought a pair of Landau pants once, and they didn't fit very well so I haven't bought the brand since. Sorry, can't help you with this one. And I also agree that if the employer is going to mandate the uniform, then they should provide it.

Re: Landau scrubs

I am an extra-small size too. I have the landau snap front top. It fits well and has nice roomy pockets. I also have the relaxed fit pull on pants. They are a little roomy, but still look more tailored than hospital scrub pants.

Re: Landau scrubs

Sorry I don't know anything about Landau. When our hospital went to color coded scrubs, you could order anywhere you wanted to it had to be in a specific color. It would seem if it is color coded you would be able to buy any brand name, but it would have to be in the color that they coded CNA's to be. It won't hurt to ask your Nurse Manager.

Re: Landau scrubs

Blech... I'd be miffed if told what brand to buy. I can't stand wearing the most of the polyester blend uniform fabrics.
Anyway, did you try the weskit tunic? That might fit well?

Re: Landau scrubs

I'd go with the weskit tunic as it has a cinch in the back that can be taken in. If you can combine with white then I'd find me some white any brand pants that fit instead of looking like oversized NBA shorts like they do on me.

Re: Landau scrubs

Hey, I work at Alegent too and I feel your pain. I also find XS to be too roomy for me. If you go to Bergman Incentives they have Alegent T-Shirts that are a bit more comfy and less baggy. Plus, you can try the items on there so you know what works for you.

Good luck!
